Yeah they run a liquid "planter band" though the planters, then they run a liquid "cultivating band" through the cultivators... That's all been done already.

Now they are doing a liquid "water run"... It is liquid fertilizer that is injected into the irrigation main line, and the irrigation water carries it through the irrigation sprinklers. They do the same thing for grain.

Dry fertilizer is pretty much dead this time of year, except for what we haul to the airstrip for the crop dusters to fly on. Usually flown on dry fertilizer is an emergency dose to boost a macro nutrient that the crop needs in order to gain a high yield.

Liquid "water run" serves a similar purpose... But it's a smaller dose applied repeatedly as the season progresses. Running fertilizer in irrigation water is called Chemigating... It requires a special license from the state. And it must be done in a very particular way to ensure the fertilizer can NOT back feed to the water source. I used to be licensed as a Private Applicator, meaning I could Chemigate my own personal or family or employers property... But I could not be paid specifically for doing so.

Champagne and Ripple = Champipple according to Redd Foxx on Sanford and Son or a stand up routine.
    - - - -Strawberry Hill for the later evacuation through nose and mouth.

MD20-20 (20 months to 20 years) for when one "comes to" wondering how we ended up on a low Butte in the desert near Lancaster, Calif., on, what appeared to be a Off Road Vehicle Track, in a '73 Maverick (straight 6, Auto) with 13" wheels for that low ground clearance effect.
Might be how I exhausted the Exhaust system.
"We don't need no stinkin' exhaust system, just throw flames eh".
Last time for that Mad Dangling stuff....went back to Shlitz Malt "Liquor" and tequila and stayed on tarseal as far as I recolek.

    Tuned owt, signing off.
