Horse hockey! I'm only closing in on 38 with crippling sciatica and 1 neck surgery so far.

 

Hey now, I ain't a geezer either. Just turned 50 which is the new 40...lol

 

One of my Fathers' Brothers, Charles, was a Paratrooper in the 517th ATTACK group.
Trained out of Base off Georgia.
Was In Europe and Italy.
Only briefly let on that He Jumped AT NIGHT and said many Brothers were maimed or killed in Jumps, and
Some ended on Power Lines, some getting broken up in Trees, some in Rivers, some SHOT before landing.
Didn't talk about those Years even when prodded as that just allowed his dark side to appear, so we learned not to "ask about the war".
My Father was in The Army for a brief bit and NEVER talked about it.
Other Brothers: John (youngest), Timber (Wood JR.) Eldest, then Charles and my Pa.
Also 2 sisters: Nell, Mary.
Mother and 5 siblings.
Parents decided 2 children would suffice, however I was like 2 in 1 since I was an emergency C-section, with Cord around Neck profiling my backside first and continued to do so thru life. Sister, 3 years later, was a Normal Birth.

Post began with Military and ended with a Mule.

I got that one all wrong.
I used to have a car seat that looked similar, but that was when I was smoking weed

 

I grew up on that stuff.
Kinda liked it.
The price was right anyway. It was my dad's

 

My father drank Pabst's Blue Ribbon beer and Moonshine. I couldn't drink moonshine; too strong for me. Even the bonded/taxed moonshine was too much for me.
