    Mister Lee has the exact same opinions as The OM.

    One of the really neato things about being a real OTR trucker is that you strike up conversations with people from everywhere.

    People you've never seen before in your life. And they have the same exact same opinions as you do.

    They only have one DC that I know of. Near San Antonio. And it's BIG. Like 400 doors. And they would let everyone in at once.

    They have expanded some, I know all the dry freight goes to a second DC a few miles away. I've been to that one twice since at Landstarve.

    It's a thousand times better. Pretty normal off load. Don't know about reefer though. I was thoroughly punished on several occasions there. Like 18 hours. 14 hours.

    My grandfather was WWII, had several uncles in Vietnam, Dessert storm, any of them that actually saw things first hand won't talk about it. We've had a number of suicides also.

    I remember going there when I first started with CRE as a trainee, then later as a solo.

    One of the most beautiful women I've ever seen in trucking backed this 900 in next to me, one shot, one leg on the steps with the door open.

    Fortunately I have never had the displeasure of going to a grocery DC for any brand. Lowe’s or Home Despot, yep. They have been known to take up a lot of hours in a day.
