My luck is such that a gopher would weaken a huge underground air bubble and trigger a collapse like a giant sinkhole and take out the house with it.

Of course the gopher would survive and surface for a caddyshack dance marathon with all it's kin.

Blu_Ogre that's not far from reality. There're several caverns in Central Oregon. My North pasture has one. You can hear it when the horses run. Interlopers that float the Deschutes are fooled into thinking the nice slow running river is safe. It's what underneath that is deadly. Lava tubes, caverns, ect.

The truck has stopped. We're at an indigenous TA. That same rat f DOT that gave me a warning 5 years ago is here f with someone else.

    Unbelievable.

Hand is sore. Probably know tomorrow whether or not it's going to get infected.

You're almost better off getting bitten by a komodo dragon than a cat.

    I am sullen.

Cat bites can get infected quick. Get something like neosporin and cover the area.
What do you have for cleaning? Isopropyl alcohol or other disinfectant?

A few years ago a cat got stuck in my daughters softball net. It was strangling itself. Not a pretty sight for the kids. I got it freed at the expense of a few bites. Even with insurance that MF’r cost me $1400 for the rabies shots.

But that was a feral cat. I’m sure the OM isn’t a dirty girl.

This reminded me of Beavis and Buttthead. Beavis got bit by a dog and got rabies. Had to get 18 shots in the stomach. Butthead says “sports drinks have nutrients” and pours Gatorade on the wound.

Didn’t you almost lose a finger a few years ago when she hung one on you?
