I know that I'm no longer a Big Dog, and thank you for pointing that out, but, in my limited time living the good life, I can honestly say that, regardless of size, I've never been to a place that didn't have mustard, (rest areas and strip joints excluded).
Which leads me to believe that you spend a lot of your time in rest areas and strip joints. (Not that there's anything wrong with that.).

There is the question of knowledge, as in how did you acquire this knowledge that strip clubs have no mustard?

You guys must use a different system out there.

On the ones Delmarva farmers have, there are arched sections of pipe with bracing underneath like a bar joist, and those are held up by A-frames with 2 rubber tired wheels on them.

I think the longest one I ever saw is on rt. 14 in DE on the western outskirts of Harrington at about 9 sections long.

That would be a pivot or a lateral... Pivot goes in a circle, lateral goes in a straight line and drags a hose.

Wheel lines are the predecessors of pivots, pivots are very expensive to purchase and install... Wheel lines are cheap in comparison. Many smaller outfits still use wheel lines because of the expense of upgrading to pivots.

Here is a pic of a pivot where I'm currently unloading...

And this is a screen shot of google maps of the area... Each of the circles is a pivot.

Pivots dominate most of the farm land out here. They can even be turned on and off remotely via an app now days.

9 towers like the one you described is probably about average... But I know of some as longs as 16 towers.

Pivots also move continuously... Not set to run then moved and run again like wheel lines.

Not necessarily... Zimmatic is a brand name, there are several other manufactures.
