Local internet connected weather station says we peaked at 97 today, have dropped to 90 so far.

Dew point is in the high 60s so tolerable if I stay in the shadows with a fan moving the air.

May be time to rig up the A.C. in the morning.

Well my 1999 vintage Porter Cable screw gun battery charger just crapped the bed.
Don't use it much anymore. Use a Black and decker mom gave me. I doubt the charger on it will last 23 years.

We stopped cause we basically have three ( not full ) shifts to accomplish our mission, but we're on I-30 in Ark Kansas.

And if you don't have a parking spot by dark round these parts, fuhget about it.

The line at the fuel island was like 50 deep. So hopefully the morning will be better.

Still have two Porter Cable PortaBands. So much lighter than a Milwaukee.

It’s been a day — left over tri- tip, camp tatters and ice tea is about all that can be mustered up— shower and bed soon to follow

There are no bad tacos. Just bad taco makers.

Taco bell sucks, but hey...at lest it's kinda similar to a taco....if you've never had a real taco that is. If you should find yourself at a taco bell, don't tell them they messed up your order, you may get a pot of boiling water thrown in your face. Yea, taco bell, you made the news....again. :)

We got a pretty good taco truck here on the sandbar. Over on Ocracoke Island.

    That said...

    I like tacos.
