    Nah looked at all the connectors, hoses, and hardware he had to pull to get the battery out. Main reason I referenced that video is it showed the physical size of the pack.

    Labor time I would bet it comes closer to remove and replace of a front wheel drive unit.

    That would be why I do not want one of the G.M. cars at this time.

    They use a battery type that does not have enough lifetime discharge cycles. Also it is prone to catching fire when it fails or is in an accident. The reason for the recall that they are under.


    They went with the easy/cheap solution rather than the "best for consumer" option.
