What if it Snows?

Man in Tupelo wanted to build a house. Inquired and all said XX was the one to get. So he goes by XX house. Wife says he is out, down on a job in Amory. Man drives to Amory and up to the site where XX and his son are working on a house. XX is cutting rafters in the yard, son up in frame nailing. Man tell XX he wants to get him to build him a house. XX says he is booked up long.
Man asks what price is this house they are building on now. XX advises this house is gonna be nice, about 200K. Man says oh well, I was thinking of 350K, but if you can build this nice for that money, I need to plan on a larger house.

XX drops the saw and says lets talk about what you have in mind, we are getting done pretty fast here.

They step over to the shade as son shouts down and says: "Daddy, this rafter is short..."
XX shouts back: How short is it??
Son says: Bout 4 inches...
XX, kind of aggravated shouts back: What is 4 inches on 16 feet, nail it....
Man from Tupelo told XX the had to go, would get back to him soon.. (What is 12 hours on a pallet of bricks?)

 

I've seen a couple of the older ones. Just think it's really cool stuff to see what the old drivers did back in the day. Was watching one documentary earlier about the making of the Dalton Highway in Alaska. That is insane what those drivers went thru

 

Old post, but.... Elite Pass does almost all of them combined with prepass.... Works really well....

 

Yes that's what I have now... sure makes it easy to not have to pay cash at every toll booth.. Plus weigh stations bypass as well. 21 bucks a month , more than worth it... shoulda got one when I was with dsv.

 

Rut Roh my brother and I were talking about this the other day he lives in OR. What the hell happened to OR oh I know Portland and CA transplants happened to OR. (as a former resident of OR it sucks out loud)

 

Are U sure that is the HST? I don't see the 75 on the Island.
