Do what I did.....wide awake at 330, grabbed a beer and enjoyed the silence.
Then went back to bed.
Back up at 9.
It's a good life

On another note altogether, I know ya'll know who this guy is, but have you heard his music? For me, there hasn't been anything worth listening to for about the last 20 years.....but this rocks. @Dave_in_AZ might even appreciate it.....enjoy

Called a family owned hose shop to get new brake hoses made. He answered but said they were closed today. I said ok, not an emergency. See you on Tuesday. He told me to hold on. Comes back and says he will be coming through in one hour and he can meet me at the shop to make them. Pretty darn cool. Great people.

Or you think your going to sleep in cause you can, but forget to shut off the alarm. Then for some reason this loud obnoxious noise disturbs your sleeping in.

 

My sympathies.. Got me an unsatisfactory in a U.S.Army morse code test. Was sending a dot and or a dash. Test sheet had 4 columns to put answers in. They send faster as test runs. I get the hang of it in column 1, it speeds up in column 2, accelerates for column 3 so zipping right along I just flash on to top of column 4... Oops, so I hastily switch back to column 3 to finish.
Graded unsatisfactory, as columns 3 and 4 are juxtaposed.
But strange things occur in the army. I was counseled as failing the code test, but upon arrival at the field station in the Philippines, was put in charge at Mission Control. Did two years of assigning freqs to 36 hi speed manual morse operators.
