So it appears the knife the killer used was a USMC issue Ka Bar.

The dude left the sheath next to the one body. They got DNA off the button of the clasp of the sheath.

They took some DNA from his parents trash, and got sample that says the DNA in the trash from the Dad, matches the suspects 99.9998%.

Kind of weak really.

The one surving roomate states-

She basically heard the whole thing. She got up to investigate, saw someone dressed in black, black face mask, walk right by her, then out the sliding glass door.

Nothing unusual here really. She heard the scuffle, male voices, roommates voices. Went in and went to sleep.

This person will go far with her college education in modern America for sure.
