What if it Snows?

Gee Thanks I graduated college in 1980

 

I should probably upgrade, but I honestly have no idea what to get anymore having been away from it so long. I see numbers for a variety of applications ranging from 70ish through 110 or so - what are those, something to do with waist width or sidecut ratio?

 

I started the school of hard knocks in 76 and haven't graduated yet!

Yes it's the waist width. Fat skis are the rage. Technology helping a lack of technique. That would not be a problem for you. Anyone that skis straight skis(205cm) would have no problem skiing anything. You should try a shaped ski. Say 75mm to 90mm wasit @ 180cm. The turn radius is the side cut of the ski. I like quick turning skis. Hence 165cm/65mm waist @ 12 meters turn radius. Demo a pair that fits your size and weight.
