What if it Snows?

It's 66 days now until Keri downloads her baby! I got a pretty good deal on American for a ticket from Norfolk to Nashville. It is one way, but when it is time to come home Keri can get me back to Norfolk. I have not actually bought the ticket yet. Keri told me to hold off because she thinks she can get me to Nashville and back with what is in effect an open-ended space available ticket. I sure want to be there to watch the little drama queen be born!

I also have problems of late with Vertigo. Been to the ER twice already.

Is that in AZ? I see light poles along, never saw them in the 50's Tucson to Yuma on US80.

Honest effort to pay. Sorta

I always said, I want to power slide into a funeral parlor with a maxed out credit card, an empty tank of gas, and an empty bottle of bourbon.......then I won.

Frankly, part of the reason that hospital bills are so high is because of ###holes like me.

But I say screw em. It's a profit enterprise.
My FIL was dying...maybe 2 or 3 days out, and he was diabetic. So the dude comes in and sez we gotta cut off his foot.
FIL says, "Hazul, please don't let them cut off my foot."
Hazul sez, go pound sand.

Dude died the next day.

So, the point is, when health care went from a 'noble obligation' (with perks, no doubt), to an industrial profit machine, I fell out.

It's kinda sad that all of the people we were brought up to trust and believe in, have turned out to be hoe's and loosers.

 

The low GPA kids and the ones from foreign medical schools need work too. The VA and Docs In A Box have to get their new hires from somewhere. The bottom 10% of the graduating class in med school isn't exactly weighed down with job offers.
I'd be very hesitant to use one who advertises as a "General Surgeon". In other words, he'll cut on anything he can identify. Okay, that's an exaggeration... but just a small one.
