    That was a BEAST. I had a 69' with a warmed up 350 to 355 with a 6500 rpm redline. Turbo 400.

    Fastest, not quickest, car I ever owned before the modern 17 SS. It would do it.

    My plan was always to trade The Maro up for something on the top shelf.

    But the great hoax killed that dream.

    Now we'll just start with something we pull out of a field someplace for $1K.

    My uncle has a 1969 AMX sitting in his garage. It is a 390 with 4 speed, original orange paint with black stripes. This car is 100 percent factory original and he is the original owner. I lust for that car.
