I did it just for me. When I started driving truck.

Even the old man quit for like his last 10 years.

    I LOVED smoking too.

    LOVED it.

    But I love breathing too.

A very good friend from the insane daze is gone. They told him to stop back then.

I give him all the credit in the world he said it's life, his way.

He went about 10 years ago ripe old age of 48.

How heavy a smoker was he? That does have a bearing on things.

2 packs usually lasts me about 10 days.

I'll say 3/4 pack maybe. Depends what he was doing.

Sometimes people would be jonesing and you'd give away nar half a pack.

I quit in 1998. But to this day, sometimes someone will light one up and I'll catch that first drift of smoke going by by nose and I find myself reaching for my shirt pocket. Good thing the only thing there is my phone.

The way I quit smoking was to identify the triggers that would cause me to light up. One of my triggers was having that first sip of coffee in the morning with lots of cream and sugar. So I would drink black coffee in the morning and whenever I wanted a cigarette during the day I would instead drink a cup of black coffee. Now at first, I was drinking about 15-18 cups of coffee a day but after a few months pulled back to about 8 to 10 cups. I'm about 6 cups a day now.
