Well 4 to 8" of snow was a 1/2". I'm messing with putting the RO in. I have been using two filter pitchers to get water drinkable. But we have a problem with pipes leaking after I put them back together. It will work after this attempt or the next.

 

Such "Potties" are not JUST in Texas and not every country has Toilets OR use bum wipes.
The "Mexican Wipes" in side cans are not just Mexican People. There are also the Central AMERICANS and well the South AMERICANS. Not all North AMERICANS are concerned about Non AMERICAN Toilet Etiquette.

In the outback of China there are Potties that Have Holes in Floor that one squats over and some buildings have a bidet "stream" for cleaning.

(I learned that by watching a couple guys on motorcycles doing a L-O-N-G TOUR THROUGH A FEW COUNTRIES, like, for instance, INDIA, then China.)

Before toilets were invented, what did Humans use?
Outhouses over a small pit?
Maybe.
In some parts of AFRICA, there are "outhouses" up a ramp and over not very deep water, when there's water. Otherwise the People just pee and poo into a pile until nature supplies a flush.
Oh, and the People wore robe style wraps, I'll guess, to be more airy or for maybe drying purposes yet the environmental heat would, I guess, as well be sufficient.

I've learned some things about other Countries from Shows such as National Geographic and sometimes the information was/is rather GRAPHIC yet it's not fabricated.
