Of course, there was no helping the seniors. Twenty packs in the cart at a buck a pack, two hundred "hot dogs" at two a day feeds 'em for a little over three months, for twenty bucks.

They might have been better off with the cat food......

Our old Dachshund has to take some pills everyday. For a while we would buy Bar-S hot dogs to hide the pills in. But even the dog won't touch them anymore.

Only way I've found is to either chop up or split and fry for a lite crispy char on the outside. Still not good but better texture so I could gag it down then.

After crisping it up a bit it works OK as an add in to Cheap Mac & Cheese.

If ya chop up about 5 packs and soak em over nite in a gallon zip loc with onion and garlic juice, they make really great catfish bait!
