50 degrees this morning and still but it’s supposed to cool off and tain. The bride is up early for a Saturday which means I have an above average chance of gravy enhanced breakfast. I only worked a half day yesterday so I need to get back to the shop today.

 

Was waiting to deliver 2 of 3 loads this morning. At 0300 we were informed the unloading area has started to collapse and the forklift is leaning too much. Actually snapped a plastic rig mat they said. So we are shut down till at least Monday morning.

I F’d up pretty bad— guy I worked for 5 years ago has been pestering me for a month to come back — told him no a couple of times till yesterday— threw a number at him early in the week that was so ridiculous that I figured he would tell to GFM, but he didn’t— so I’m giving up my dream of being a truck owner for awhile
