Question— Why would anyone think that if you purchased a battery off a storeroom shelf and installed it correctly that it would not immediately be ready for service???? I couldn’t go back and return it today cause I’d probably end up in jail

 

Used to be you got the battery and a little box of acid to add, then had to charge it................

 

This was one of those new fangled ones that is sealed

 

Back when I rode motorcycles. The battery would be dry and shipped with a bottle of acid. You had to fill your own battery and charge it before you could use it

What has been in it since 2014 until last year— thought I’d give the new world technology try out and neither one of the POS’s is worth a F

 

I thought about getting a new battery for my '09 Suzuki (PV) a bit back.... Then I find out it's like $225 because it's basically a friggin' boat battery (Marine class).... So F it. I'll replace the alternator first.
