I may make my first attempt at cooking a brisket on my little smoker bbq thingy. Gotta do some reading up.

What is the weight? If you’re going to smoke it, be prepared for about 1:30 per pound. Baste about every 30/45 minutes. Cook to 195 degrees.

For my money, since there's so little fat, I'd have a pan of beer in there. Beer does nothing for the taste, but the junk in it helps the meat.
