Anyone who's been to any Civil War reenactment probably enjoys it for commom and individual reasons.

I'm NOT proud of it, but I share the fact that I shy away from anything associated with the Civil War. I can't explain it... and, I'm ashamed that I feel very uncomfortable with any kind of Civil War memorabilia... It just creeps me out. I think it's in large part do to the empathy I feel for the suffering of so many during the whole tragic era. I do NOT feel it is a legitimate excuse but, nevertheless it is something that I really wish I could overcome. I guess I need therapy?

 

It looks like a bunch of campers on the fuel island to me. Not very much flying

No need to overcome it either.

I never really got LARPing, and the money that is spent reenacting these battles every year boggles my mind.
