It's been pretty hazy here today, but not really "smoky".

Appliance dude came by. Said ice maker is fine. Used a JUMPER WIRE to test the water valve thingy. Said it was working.
Official ruling is something, probly the tank that feeds the ice maker is froze up.
Turned down the temp setting on freezer and fridge and said see what happens.
Said whole unit may be on its way out.

in other news, some new old arn has showed up at the old arn lot.

 

That is a sweet truck. I love those trucks. Had a 1969 F100 that Dad had and I learned to drive on it. 4 speed with granny low.

The water hose that feeds the ice maker has a wire heater on it. If it goes bad the line freezes. It’s easy enough to replace. The hardest part is sliding the fridge out far enough to get behind it. Pull the line out the back unplug and replace the line with a new one. The heater will be made on it.

 

Sorry for your loss Judge. You had him for a little while and; sometimes, that all we get. Don't hate the woman, pity her. There is something lacking in her life. Dog's in GOD's care now.
