Sorry it is not going good. Seems the dealership is long on "us" and short on "yall..." Us gets the good pay and easy management and you'll have to make us enough money to continue our life style. If they would get off this textbook management and scheduling; send a man and fix it now, they would be flooded with business. Provide prompt, solid service, at a reasonable rate. Customers have told me, I don't care what the the bill is, fix it, get it back, I have a plant to run. I opened in 79, sold in 92. competed against Clark, Cat, Yale, branches.. Hyster and Nissan residebt road mechanics.
Have actually went more than once, snaked a machine out of their shop and hauled down to ours to fix. customer tired of the run around.

Highest compliment I was ever paid was after selling. A customer called, thanked me for the good service over the years, but advising he would not be using the new owners. I asked why. His answer was: "Roger, you never minded saying NO. I would call, electric truck problem. You would say: Jerry, there is no way to get Tony on it till (2) days.. He would reply, no problem, it is just erratic. We will have in on you dock (2) days morning. Call when you know it will be ready and we will pick it up. Tony was our electric man, no need for it to set there in the way.

 

Concise, I like them..
