I F’d up a while back and asked the other half to pick me up a can while she was out and about— won’t be doing that again

I can understand the indignation and outrage for forced waiting.

I thought detention was a good thing..... "Always moist and Delicious"

Hopefully you were not being forced to wait/detained in the locked cage with the other undesirables.

"How long have you been driving without a tail light?" asked the policeman after pulling over a motorist.

The driver jumped out, ran to the rear of his car and gave a long, painful groan.

He seemed so upset that the cop was moved to ease up on him a bit.

"Come on, now," he said, "you don't have to take it so hard. It isn't that serious."

"It isn't?" cried the motorist. "Then you know what happened to my boat and trailer?"

We were forced to wait until our appointment time.

Then unloaded in about 40 minutes.

Gimmie a phone number. I’ll get to the bottom of this.

NM. Saw you were unloaded. I should probably still talk to them to thwart future issues.

County-wide Don't Breathe Order has been lifted.

Still hot and humid af, though.
At least we're in the shade here in the shop. Still hot af inside, though.

Someone stocked the freezer with a couple cases of Freeze-Pops, so there IS that.

The interview Tuesday didn't go well.

I told the recruiter that called me Friday that I was interested in full-time work out of Cincinnati.

Fine and good.....can you meet with our safety guy Tuesday? Yes, where and when.

So Tuesday I drive to a McDonald's 40 minutes away, we sit down, the DUDE tells me there's no full time work out of Cincinnati.....o_O

Great. Thanks for your time. Seven minutes, my second shortest interview ever. I tell the guy give me a call if anything changes.

Since I burned a vacation day for this, I went about doing some errands.

I'm at the Meijer store near the house. I check my phone, there's a voice message......"Hey, my bad, we DO have full time in Cincinnati. Can you come on back and we can finish our talk?"

    Uhhhhh, no. Just.....no.
