Hottest I ever remember is 121 back like 2014 . I had a manual labor job working outside at that time. some of the news channels will say it's never been that hot but they all sit inside all day . I heard some of my family say it got to 125 out here back in the 80s . They only had swamp cooler back then. Pretty rough

 

My guess is that current temperature of 101 is not that bad.
