Is an armadillo strike a common occurrence?

    I've never seen an armadillo.

I've never heard anyone say, "When he found out his barn was on fire, he hauled ### outta here like an armadillo"......

There don't seem to be any literary references praising an armadillo's speed or agility. Maybe I'm just reading the wrong books.....

I remember that being a skill we finished honing in Kindrgarten.

Not sure it is part of the modern curriculum. With the variations of the prison issue flip flop now a socially acceptable thing not sure how important it is.

Of course then you wonder across the other end of the spectrum. Worked with a PhD in Electrical Engineering. He thought the Velcro closures on his sneakers were a God send cause he had trouble tying shoe laces.

Yeah, I figured that's where you'd see them.

@tramm01 mentioned an "armadillo strike" as something "weird".

I suppose it would be weird in the Ho.

It would DEFINITELY be weird in OH-HI-OH.

I ran mostly to Sulphur Springs TX and Dallas, TX. Never saw an armadillo.....
