That sticker peeling thing and seat cracking seems to be an issue with jd , my buddies 2016 x758 has the same issues and has never sat out overnight either .
I almost bought a x500 a couple years for like 500 bucks that needed a hood but It had like 900 hours on it , engine puffing blue smoke and could see it had been rode hard and put up wet so I passed and ordered a new one.

Don't blame ya, good call. They are a handful enough when you get em brand new and are a maintenance natzi! Wouldn't want anybody else's hand me downs. I sell crap like that as an auctioneer every weekend... no thanks!!

We have them here in SW Arkansas. Used to be an abandoned house around the corner that had some living under it. Don't know what happened to them when they tore the house down. I was walking up the street with my dog one day and he se one of the armadillos. He walked over and sniffed it and the armadillo just sniffed back. Then turned around and walked off.

We have a 13 year old Craftsman mower my wife bought. I hate it but I keep the maintenance up on it and it still works good. But it's been so long since I thought about cleaning it up, I'm not even sure what color it is. Going to get a JD next spring.

Took me a couple years to talk myself into it and then @bzinger shamed me and I’m glad he did— would highly recommend going to a local dealer instead of a big box to buy one— their service department is bound to piss you off but way less than the tards at the big boxes

A few years ago, I decided I needed a riding mower. Back when the virus was in full swing. Looked at em several times at Lowes and Farm and Home. Was gonna get a jd but due to everthing in short supply or no supply, they no gottie any jd's. So I bought a Crapsman. Now, I have several Crapsman power tools and they all work fine. Only reason i bought any of em is because Crapsman is not connected to sears any longer. I have a long story about sears and why I refused to darken their doorway circa 1999 I'll tell someday lol,

So. I spent 2600 bucks on this mower. Had delivery set up for a Sunday. Dude from Lowes calls and asks if ok to deliver it saturday. I said sure, I gotta work but my mom will be here. So dude delivers mower. I get home and start it up and park it in back yard. Few days later, went to mow grass with my brand new mower. F thing wouldnt start.
. Crank ,no start. I thought you gotta be kidding me. Got some gas and trickled some into intake. Fired up. Cut the grass and it looked like hammered shat. Next week, same thing, No start. I called em up and said come get this thing. They did.
Now I just use my 6 year old non self propelled Cub Cadet. Thing starts on the second pull after sitting all winter.
