    Jury duty around here pays crap. No way I'd log on duty unless I just wanted to burn some hours. Which I do quite often.

    I was notified for jury duty when in Colorado. Called are you going to pay travel time and missed wages? No. Then you'll have to come and get me. Crickets. I'm such an outlaw.

    Texas offers an amazing $7.50/day for jury duty. Fortunately Sherwin pays me my 8 hours at hourly rate, so it doesn't hurt as bad as it could. Wife finally is working again as well, so that helps with the burden.
