Shh.., another birthday coming up 9/3. Local funeral director gonna give me a ride around town while so I can kinda pre enjoy it.

In a serious vein, the Goodyear blimp was in Tupelo yesterday and today. Celebrating them having bought up the Cooper tire plant here last year, it getting nearly destroyed by a tornado 3 months ago, it being back in full production. Tain and t/storms all day so not sure of the plan to offer all employees a ride in it.
Had 3 round trips from local airport, over the plant, and back scheduled.
Goodyear continued the payroll while the plant was down. A generous gesture for sure; but, Yokahama plant (down the road 40 miles in West Point, MS) was
advertising for "experienced" tire planf workers. May have added a little binding to the cheese, jus sayin...

 

LOL....everybody started out as a Johnson and we kicked out the bad apples and renamed them sumbeeches.
