What if it Snows?

Muse loves catnip.

Just sayin'.

 

I know the feeling... But my writing tends toward the poetic side more than novelistic. Here are a couple of my more recent pieces...

Poetry from the Road

 

I'm taking a 34 at the Love's just east of Mobile, AL. I deliver Monday morning in Panama City, FL and then pick up a load in Alabama headed back to Ontario, CA. Pulling a dry van with a whopping total of 2000 lbs.

Been a while since I ran I-10 east of Lafayette.

I stopped here because this was the best chance to shut down with available parking, showers, and laundry. This is one of those new Love's, with front loading washing machines.

In a Pete 389 I can take a weeks worth of clothes. This is one of those rare times I didn't get home for the weekend.

It's almost time to reconsider my clothes. I might start blending in more heavy shirts, maybe some turtlenecks, or even a set of long johns. Last Sunday night I put on a beanie cap and broke out my sleeping bag as a top comforter as I slept without idling in Fallon, NV.

Of GWWWAAADDD! What if it SNOWS!????

The Grand Ole Opry is on tv now.
It sounds really good.
