Sorry brother. I never shed a tear when dear old dad died, also in 2018. He and I never got along or saw eye to eye on anything. Ever.

 

Definitely sweet cars out there every weekend. No trailer queens allowed well there were some but usually learned to park them by the river unload and drive em in

 

@JolliRoger My dad was close to your age. Everything you say is like he is still here,minus the farm life. I appreciate your words, even if it is a silly story of the past. I sit here blasting oldies that he listened too. The best music.

My dad wasn’t a nurture. Or a good teacher. But he was intelligent. Had a great sense of humor. I hated so many things about him. I’ve been PO’d for so many years.

 

And this makes me miss my grandparents. A surgeon and a nurse. Salt of the earth folks. Their house is just down the street from me.

 

At the risk of messing up, I am gonna say; Maybe its time to talk with a pastor, priest, or other religious leader. This might lead to you just telling GOD about it and leave it with him. You can just sit where you are now and call on GOD's help. Lightening won't flash nor thunder roll but you will feel unburdened.
