What if it Snows?

Thinking it’s a Cornish Game Hen type of afternoon— with a tater casserole — and cantaloupe with lots of salt and pepper on it

 

Store had some good looking pineapple. Was thinking of getting a couple for grilling. Just had so much other stuff. Smoked some beans yesterday. Turned out pretty good.

 

It's Chinese night for us. Hazul is cooking so, the only thing that will remotely resemble Chinese food will be the frozen egg rolls and rice, (Rice-a-Roni......ok, but there's still rice in it.)

 

Grabbed 2 discount ribeyes while I was out, should go good with some tators and green beans. Got plenty of seasoning that can turn even a bad steak edible.

 

You going to grill them tonight?

 

Gonna be doing them in the cast iron. Since we're in a burn ban our apartments have nixed all outdoor grilling. Think I may fix up some "cowboy butter" to go with.

1 TBSP LEMON JUICE
4 GARLIC CLOVES
1 TBSP HORSERADISH
1 TBSP FRESH PARSLEY MINCED
1 TBSP FRESH CHIVES MINCED
1 TSP DIJON MUSTARD
1/2 TSP SMOKED PAPRIKA
1/4 TSP CAYENNE POWDER
