    Yeah I got the same story a few years back. If they want to really stop the wrecks they might just do their job and write tickets for speeding in control areas. It is normal for dozens of idiots to go flying by

    But that would put the officers in harm's way by driving in the vicinity of the Id10ts.

    Pretty sure the union would whine loud about it being during foul weather also.

    And we all are aware of the long term affects of safety blitzes.

    Lol was just thinking they should run every body through a sobriety check point.

    That way they could answer the question of "Are you Drunk or Stupid" before hand.

    Then can even pass out little cards like at the chain check points.
