I agree with the basics of what you say.

There have been some changes at the state level that are major road blocks. Could be why the developers are thinking decades long process for approval. Guess it don't matter much in the long run for me.... I'll be dead by then. I would just hate to be stuck in a tech startup influenced town. Most of the time those fools cannot get a hardware or software product out the door without major failures in the initial release product.

I am also confident the Sierra Club would be willing to set loose their lawyers on this one.

 

I am inflicting pain upon myself today for some reason. Walked over to Starbucks. I used to boycott this place. Not only because of the clientele but also the weirdo employees. But my fatness won. I need chocolate and ice with a little coffee mixed in. And some whipped cream. I feel queer just typing this.

 

The big fuss around here now is density. Every one is against it. Why, well too many people in a small area and no infrastructure to support it. The city/county/state has approved a development with a few hundred residential units. No parking spaces for the property. So where are people going to park their cars? On the street? Well the developers say, it on public transport systems. They will use those. Sure they will……
