    Yes there are options out there, tho I have never seen one up close... But I do know they exist. However, the vast majority of the welding I do will be on new clean steel which only poses very minimal risk.

    I've had a few relatives and friends that were Welders. I also have Associates in Air Pollution technology. Anyway, don't take welding fumes to lightly. You really should wear PPE.

    Yes, in the long term, even minimal risk welding fumes can cause devistating health problems.

    Hope the have vent hoods and fans to move the air. Welding fumes are not good. Also don’t wear contacts when welding, or they will weld to your eye.

    Can you really bite the dust from welding galvanized steel or is that just a myth?

    Well Zinc & Lead Oxide are very hazardous fumes given off by Galvinized Steel when welding.
