    I'd venture that means you could renew it now, just taking the test, but every so often you have to go get fingerprinted.

    I've got some dog food loads where the shipper does a full background check on you right there if you're interested.

    How long does hazmat background check take?
    How long will the background checks take and how will I be notified of the results? It normally takes at least 30 days from the date you submit your fingerprints to complete the background check. However, the time period can be longer than 30 days.

    It will be green tonight. I had some running to do. On a side note.... driving the wife's car. This thing isn't bad, I have only ever driven it in and out of the shop and we have had it for years. It's a shame they stopped making these. Jeep Commander

    Nope, sure don't need the HME currently; just figuring if I only have til Jan 2020 to renew it, I might as well go ahead with it. That stuff is confusing as heck..... Thanks for reply~!
