Speaking of the soon to be son in law. He made it official and proposed to her last weekend when she was in Germany with him. We were all on a call yesterday as they were talking about when, where, ect. When he decided to call his mom and include her into the conversation. That didn't go well! I kept my mouth shut for his sake, but it was hard. Woman was negative from the get go. I felt so bad for that poor kid... You could tell she was trying to find a polite way to say "don't get married!!"... WTF?! nobody's asking her to pay for anything, and they don't need her permission. That train has left the station, they were just trying to make her feel included..... but whatever, if she wants to push him away, so be it!.. her loss!...it'll be more grandkids time for us someday lol

Yup, I told them they are marrying each other not their parents, so if they don't like it tough S, they aren't the ones they'll be spending their lives with
