    Lol y'all really ain't used to round bales. They're wrapped so tight water rolls off the sides when placed that way. That's why ya see em stored everywhere uncovered. There's no need to..... UNLESS.... you and Opus are feeding that is!! Lol

    That’s all I feed. We store them inside a shed though. The outer layer will get moldy. Animals generally eat it from the middle out.

    Yup, if their baled good and tight, you don't waste more than the outside layer usually even stored outside if you got good airflow around em.

    Well, and I wasn't going to say this however I feel compelled; if that were the plan, and I have no doubt it was, why aren't the feeders a more rectangular shape?
