A few months ago, my oldest stepson was living with us for a while. I called him on my way home one Friday and told him we gotta go pick up some small square bales I got a good deal on when I get home. He said, well I was gonna go do something with some friends, I said well, that'll have to wait till we're done!.... I got home hooked up the stock trailer, he never said a word about it the whole way there and I didn't volunteer any info... just before we got there he says, how much are we gettin?.... I said, only 63 bales! Lol..... he was pleased!!! Wasn't to long after he finally moved back out!!

 

Tossed lots of those Bales in my early Teen Years

On the Wagon then onto the Conveyor to stack in the Barn

 

I did too, then AFTER I entered the workforce the round bales started getting popular.

 

Right. From the field 5 high to the hay mow at 120 degrees.
But I guess we all lived through it.

 

I found out after a a while and doing most everything myself— even with a crew of hotshot college rodeo team bull riders—that 3 teenage girls on the volleyball team that had horses that they loved beyond anything else and needed to fed were way better hands than any hotshot college rodeo team bull riders ever thought of being— and I remind them ever chance that I get

 

Youth is wasted on the young
