Beyond that what Dave said plays into it. If the network is heavily loaded then it's going to be slow as it rotates through who is getting data when. Side observation video streaming like Fakebook, tick-tok, and U-tube are data/bandwidth hogs. Those definitely exploded in usage about the same time as 5g came out.

 

Wile your drinking your mint julep on the porch you could say - Ya know, it looks to me the field hands don't work as hard today as they use too.

 

Wouldn’t surprise me if they are trying to limit our usage. I thought 5g was supposed to be fast for everyone.

 

It is as long as there is capacity available to meet the wants of everybody. Not enough capacity = everybody gets throttled.

 

Wasn’t 5g gonna increase capacity, it’s new so it’s gotta be better.
