Well I just found out from a shop that unless my injectors arent clearing the smoke after 5 mins. I would only be throwing my money away. When the tractor was running, the white smoke would clear after 20-30 seconds. Also it being a naturally aspirated engine? Having blackened pistons and cylinder head is normal.
The crankshaft on the other hand? It is horrible! Two mechanics prior felt no need to polish the bearing surfaces. So the bearing surfaces look like a horizontal phonograph. Even the main journals are horrible. So that will be christmas money maybe at $350. Then maybe another $100 for the gaskets.
