I got to road test in a big boy truck today. I can see why guys like the t880, it was really nice and super powerful. Apparently when pulling a tank you just throw out everything you thought you knew and start over tho lol.

 

Thats exactly where i shut her down . shouldve looked at my elogs before leaving and i wouldve realized i only had 7 hours on my 70 hr clock lol didnt look at it until i took my 30 min break and couldnt figure out why i only had 1 hr left to drive , im so dumb sometimes .kentucky is home for the weekend i suppose

There's nothing like it. YEP, forget all you thought you knew. Drag 100# hoses, hook, rinse repeat; climb catwalks to tco the dome, accordingly. Oh yeah; don't forget to get the RPM's high enough before you engage the PTO.

 

You gotta do everything real slow and easy. I already consider everything I do real slow and easy from pulling doubles but apparently it's even more that that. All the trucks they had were beasts, t880s and 389s all 18spd from what I've heard so you can be a real trucker. Not a fake trucker like me in my Freightliner with a 10spd (ttr logic lol). The trailer was super top heavy, I could feel it even empty. The tandems are all the way at the back and I like that because it makes backing easier I think.
