Thought I'd share this with U
About a year ago had trouble Fueling my Vehicle, got the Nozzle into the Neck of the Tank and Gas was flowing.... for not even a Gallon and the Nozzle would kick off. It takes a long time to Fill the Tank when the Nozzle continues to kick off no matter what U try whether it's adjusting the depth which the Nozzle is inserted or changing the angle or only discharging 2 or 3 Tenths at a time before the Nozzle would Kickoff
Did some Research and between Online Reading plus talking to @DeereRunner97 and former Member MJ1657 all signs pointed to something going South with some Pollution Control BS
On my 2014 F-250 there is some EPA Mandated Vapor Recovery Gizmo located to the rear of the Truck in front of the Spare Tire. Apparently if Ya fill-up the Tank like I tend to do it gets the Charcoal soaked within the Vapor Recovery Cannister causing the Refueling Issues and necessitating the Replacement of this awesome piece of Junk mandated by the EPA.
As I recall, it cost around $600 to have it replaced and the 1st Cannister was defective so it had to be replaced a 2nd time
Also had the Check Engine Light come on back in July and the Code read that the Gas Cap was Failing so it was replaced
