It's a desk jockey control thing.

Everything must happen exactly as they put in the contract or you get hit with a penalty.

Wouldn't be so bad if the people administrating the contract were not so prone to incompetence.

Had it happen at a grocery store DC. The "fine" was like a hundred dollars. Asked the guard if they wanted Comcheck, credit card, or was going to bill back? Guard shack called the traffic coordinator, they were actually very low stock on the product in the trailer so no fine and got moved up the priority list for unload. Got a call from the broker while being unloaded.... asked how soon I could deliver. The silence on the phone when I told him I was in the dock and the trailer was being unloaded was rewarding. Should of asked for a performance bonus.

When we deliver to a pad, we don’t always go straight in. Sometimes we have a staging pad close by that we go to. Either way we check in with the sand coordinator on pad and they tell us to come in or go to staging. We send a message when we leave the loading facility and again when we are close by.

The current pad has staging but it was shut down due to tracking mud onto the main road. So we started staging at the exit. This includes the off ramp or the small Exxon truckstop.

To make matters worse, they briefly opened staging this morning then closed it again for more repairs. The complete chaos from this is absolutely amazing.

Things change often doing this. You have to monitor the app and read previous messages to stay alert to changes. These guys do not and will not read back. And they don’t learn from their mistakes. It’s the same drivers every freaking time.

Yes , and I don't get it. This last summer from my not small city but in Los Angeles County, we were given orders on more than one occasion, to turn of everything electrical , except freezers etc. But no air conditioner and L.A. in summer without air is suffering. But the state wants to have everyone driving E-cars? It makes no sense , if we cannot run our air conditioners why are they pushing e-cars?
