We had a nice visit, late yesterday afternoon Keri left headed back to Nashville, and then on to home. When I see the doctor on Friday I will also be face timing with Keri. We are sure the problem has been identified. I am taking Isosorbide for my angina. The ER doctor first asked me if I was also taking Sildenafil and after I started laughing he said I guess that is a no. I am on the schedule to have another nuclear stress test done. While the last Heart stent placement got rid of all the 100% blockages the continued angina tells us some partial blockages are going to need to be stented soon. Keri asked me to stop taking the Isosorbide and use Nitroglycerin as needed. I got up kissed her on the forehead and said I hope you never know the pain and pressure that comes from Angina, if you do just once you will know why I rather stay on the Isosorbide.


To save space what I know about my heart is ----

---I seem to have some partial blockages in the lower part of my circumflex artery. This I remember after my last visit to the cath lab. The Heart doc who did this heart cath felt it was better to leave them alone unless it became medically necessary to intervene. There is a heart attack called "the widow maker" It is caused by a full blockage on this left artery. While I now eat a heart health diet and take meds my doctors can't rule out a possible blockage in this area.

What I am going through is a result of a lifetime of eating truck-stop garbage and getting little exercise on top of that. I spoke to another friend a while back who told me one of his cousins was found dead in his bed by his wife. Heart attack. This is why when I come across a question about high blood pressure regarding a physical I tell the OP their health is more important. A CDL even with a 2-year card is worthless if you are dead.

If you can find flower produced by Amish farmers, it will be traditional grains, not GMO and no Rouindup applied to increase the yield like our corporate farmers are doing.

 

I'm sorry to hear what you are going through, but thank you for warning younger guys about the dangers of the truckstop diet. As bad as they were in the past, now they are even worse. They don't actually sell real food any more, merely food like substances, and fast food joints selling dog food with so much flavor enhancer added that it convinces your senses that it tastes good. Sometimes I think they are on a mission to poison off the truck drivers.
