In a bit of a pickle guys. Got loaded, went to get scaled. Was over. No problem. Slide tandems rescale. No go. Did that two more times, still over either on the steers the drives or the trailer. Last resort slide the fifth wheel. Drives and trailer were good. But barely above quarter tank. Steers were dead on 12k. So put 20 gallons. Re scale now over on steers. Call dispatch send in scale tickets they get ahold of terminal manager he says run it. I’m like wtf first they’re paying the fine more important I’m concerned about my license. Don’t want a bad mark because of it. If I need to get a new job.

    Are you over 80K?

If not put it on the steers and go.

No 79,280 . Steers will be 12,080. Very little fuel. Plus I’ll have to slide my fifth wheel again. They tell us don’t go over ever.

Are you running through any of the few states that will hold you to the 12K steer limit?

If not, I wouldn’t worry about it.

So you are 800lbs. light on drives/trailer. One hole on trailer is usually 500 lbs or so, fifth wheel depends, but usually 300 to five hundred per notch on trucks that I have owned. There should be a combination in there that works.
