I can see apu not be cost effective for large fleets that run trucks into the ground for 500k miles and 95% of all wrenching required during that time is covered under a warranty specially written for said large company.

But for an OO that takes pride in his ride and plans to keep a truck to well over 1M miles... Then an APU is Definetally the way to go.

The joys of a small company is the lower overhead. Start getting too large and the company needs more people to run it. In college I took several classes on "Industrial Supervision". In that class it was discussed why it is that small entities of business were more successful than large corporations. Enjoy what you have Dave. It is worth more than the mega fleet.

Wondering if he is Otters KTT (sir Talks-a-lot)

Never even got that far. I'm pretty sure he was mad before he ever dialed the phone.

I'm glad that you pointed that out. There seems to be a lot of anger and impatience and dicordiousness these days....or is just me thinking that?

Well pretty much living this 24/7/365 I still figure things out all the time.

So for someone to say they know all about it, seems like a fair question to ask them to describe it.

And since they know all about it, why then do they need information?
