Well I had a minor melt down last nite when Detroit threw the two (2) point conversion.
Changed the channel. That'll show em lol
Then. Changed it back and Dallas had won. How'd that happen?Watched the post game stuff and had no clue wtf they were talking about.

The explanation is pretty simple..detroit tried to confuse the Cowboys by running three lineman up to the ref to declare eligibility. 70 had checked in as an eligible receiver several times during the game. Unfortunately they confused the ref too.
You can listen to the ref announce that #70 is an eligible receiver in the video and he tells Dallas defense the same so they don't assign anyone to cover 68 who said he also had reported eligible. He then blocks, runs open and catches the TD. Would Dallas have stopped the play if they knew 68 was eligible? Maybe, maybe not. But when its announced over the loudspeaker it is incumbent on the Lions to correct it because they know 68 is ineligible unless declared.Bud A., Dale thompson, austinmike and 5 others Thank this. -
What a BS excuse! 68 was already talking to the official before 70 came running in. So he already declared he was eligible before 70 could. No if 70 declared eligible, why would he line up in the tackle spot? But 68 lined up on the end because he declared eligible.
