We've a good start on the main engine. All systems are on line.

The OM has given the order," Climb Mount Niitaka."

    Releasing moorings.

My new JD mower was delivered Friday. As of Friday morning, we had 6.5" of tain from Wednesday through Friday am and my yard looks like a rice paddy. May get to try out mower soon though.
On another note, the crews are working 24 hours a day picking up the boxcars that derailed on Saturday. Local news reports that the cars are hauling beer.
    Hmmm........

We stopped to take a leak at the rest area high atop the Arizona Mountains, before proceeding into the SAVAGE wilderness.

The OM said may as well make an emergency sandwich whilst we're here.

Here at the homestead we just had the Navy Jet Fighters fly over on their way to the DFW Veterans Cemetery for Memorial day to honor our fallen heroes, who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.

Only thing better than buying at estate sales is buying in bulk from a widow at an estate sale, who wants to go elsewhere.
I just found it hard "to get in there and pitch", sometimes having known the deceased. Always tried to pay a fair price.

Never cared for nascar much. My brother was a fanatic about it.
When he passed away in '12, his wife discovered a large amount of nascar collectible stuff stashed in tge attic. She knew he had some stuff but didn't know the extent of all the rest. He had a whole bunch of those Wheaties boxes with nascar people on em. All full ~ o_O
