Well Roger, toten' a 300 pound generator around to go take a pee in the middle of the night is annoying. And, despite the fact that I have 2 journeymen electricians in the will, I have no idea how to hook it up to the house. So, we'll just be using it for a floor fan in the kitchen.

 

Have chicken on mine. Got some good fixns for quality chicken sandwiches.

What you need is a transfer switch. Best placed at the breaker box. What circuits is dependent on the output of the generator.

 

That is fantastic, a floor fan on the generator, constant cool.. Any way to stick a double socket in the system and add a small lamp? I do not have to get up nites, so I cant fathom the trouble you have to surmount. Be a good time to sell it while the winds howl, maybe a little profit...

 

You know, if you had a bunch of chicken, you could make that yourself.

Think about it. Lots of grilled chicken in the freezer. Then all ya gotta do is let it thaw out in the fridge, slice, dice and mix.
