This Buddhist Monk wannabe attempted enlistment. Was told; down in the Monastery, transcribe the original to current, by candle light, only come out once a year and speak one sentence... I'm in he says.

1st year: It's dark and cold.
    2nd year: Beds hard.
    3rd year. I Quit.

Main Monk said: About as well. All you have done since you have been here is complain..

Apparently The Hazul has the whole hurricane thing figured out.

Seems like a little while ago, there was unprecedented whining about this being a record hurritain season.

So far there's been exactly how many?

Well, not as many as one would have expected, however, the season is young.

That said, I hate it for some of the people in Houston. 150 degrees outside and no electricity for 2 or 3 weeks.....I would be dead by cop right now.

Little hard to get a numerical total count. It varies by how you categorize it.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration predicted an "above average" hurricane season for 2024, with 17 to 25 named storms, eight to 13 hurricanes, and four to seven major hurricanes of Category 3 or higher.Jul 1, 2024
